Each year, more than 15,000 doctors, scientists and health experts from leading diabetes research institutions and clinics all over the world gather at the congress of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) to exchange the latest scientific insights concerning research and treatment of the disease.
In the USA alone, nearly 30 million people suffer from diabetes mellitus. In Austria, the number stands at 600,000. The VIVIT had a strong presence at this year’s ADA congress in Orlando and with its 16 contributions, it was one of the world’s most heavily featured research institutions at the congress.
