What are the goals of the VIVIT College?

The VIVIT College aims to support early-career scientists (Fellows) in Vorarlberg by providing the conditions for high-quality and efficient research training, including guidance on scientific publications. This is carried out under the supervision of experienced mentors. Access is generally open, with eligibility assessed in advance by the Faculty members. Each Fellow is assigned to a specific mentor, who defines the research project to be pursued. Research findings are presented and discussed in Research-in-Progress Meetings.

    Fellows of the VIVIT College are warmly invited to attend the recommended conferences. Travel expenses (2nd class rail, accommodation, registration) may be covered in consultation with VIVIT. These meetings are an excellent opportunity to present research findings at national conferences (e.g. as a poster) or simply to experience the conference environment. The topics covered span multiple disciplines (cardiology, diabetology, lipid research, obesity, pharmacology, etc.). Since abstract submissions are usually required well in advance of each conference (deadlines are given in brackets), please contact the VIVIT office as early as possible if you are interested (Dr. Malin, +43 5522 303 6902).
